Saint Francois Vineyards

We travel through the towns of Pilot Knob and Bismark, highlighting points of interest along the way. At the winery you will see the vineyards, tour the winery and taste the wines. Wine tasting is included in the tour package and you can sample up to seven (7) wines and keep the stemware.

Special note: Saturday tours offer Beer sampling of up to six (6) locally brewed beers. There are wines and beer to purchase. You will meet and talk with the owner and hear the story of how he built the facility and makes the wine and tends the vine.

Twelve Mile Emporium in Caledonia

From the winery we travel on Hwy 32 to Caledonia.  Caledonia is a special stop with its Antique Stores, Bed and Breakfasts, Ice Cream Shops and of course it’s wonderful Architecture. Your first stop in Caledonia is The Twelve Mile Creek Emporium. Here you will resume your wine tasting with a menu offering 39 Missouri wines for purchase, 3 samples from their wine menu are included in the tour package.  Special note: Saturday tours offer music on the patio at the Twelve Mile Emporium.

Old Village Mercantile in Caledonia

The Old Village Mercantile is a “must see” you will receive a special gift made just for you by the Mercantile owners. Plan on spending a little time shopping and looking over the delicious sweets and treats. This is a fascinating place with so many wonderful items and sights. You truly feel as if you have taken a step back in time when you enter through these doors. Cool drinks, coffees and treats are available for purchase.

Elephant Rocks State Park

Heading back to our original destination we will travel approx. 9 miles to Elephant Rocks State Park. We will drive into the Park but will remain in the bus, we will provide information and highlights about the park for you through our tour guide. We will exit the park and return back to Shepherd Mountain Inn.
